In her lecture, Director Katulić presented an overview of strategic documents for communicating the process of European integration to the citizens of the Republic of Croatia, and an overview of information and other education activities that are being implemented with a view to providing better information about the EU to the citizens. The lecture aroused interest among the audience who assessed the quality and the scope of information activities undertaken in the Republic of Croatia as positive, and pointed out that they could apply Croatia’s experiences in their future work.
The lecture was held as part of the regular annual meeting of the representatives of EU Delegations from the candidate countries and potential candidates who deal with communications, which is organised by the Directorate General for Enlargement of the European Commission. The meeting was attended by the representatives of EU Delegations from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia and Turkey, and the representatives of the Information and Communication Unit of DG Enlargement of the European Commission.
