The collocutors described the cooperation in numerous areas as positive, and agreed that the political relations between the Republic of Croatia and the People’s Republic of China made a favourable foundation for the strengthening of economic cooperation.
Vice President Xi Jingping thanked for the policy of the Government of the Republic of Croatia supporting the “One China” scheme, pointing out his agreement with Minister Jandroković that the time had come that the excellent political relations should be complemented by the economic. In this regard, he said that the Chinese side would provide full support to the largest and most renowned Chinese companies for investments in the infrastructural projects in the Republic of Croatia.
Minister Jandroković announced Croatia’s participation at the International Exhibition “EXPO” that will be held in Shanghai this year, and he reiterated his belief that the People’s Republic of China would once more prove their organisational prowess, as demonstrated in 2008 during the Olympics.
