The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Croatia has been awarded the “Charter for Outstanding Imaginative, Scientific, Innovative and Business Creative Activity in 2009”, which is presented by the Association of Innovato

On behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandroković, the Charter was accepted on Friday, 19 February 2010, by Director of the Directorate for Support to Croatia’s EU Accession Process Mirjam Katulić. On that occasion, she expressed satisfaction that the efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration regarding the implementation of numerous programmes for the young in the context of the accession of the Republic of Croatia to the European Union had been recognised. She pointed out that the Ministry, in cooperation with the embassies of EU Member States and with the European universities, had invested in the education of 250 young people whose professional and specialist knowledge is being put to use to strengthen administrative capacities in the civil service.

By the Decision of the Presidency of the Association of Innovators “Sigma”, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, together with the Government of the Republic of Croatia, four other ministries, the City Council of the City of Zagreb, the competent City services and around 20 organisation, agencies, chambers and renowned companies, was among the institutions presented with the Charter. The Association of Innovators “Sigma” was established in 2008 and today has a reputation of a unique national and European association bringing together the imaginative, scientific, academic, innovative and business creative activity of the young.
