The collocutors confirmed the existence of excellent bilateral relations, devoid of outstanding issues. Minister Jandroković thanked for the support Greece had shown Croatia during its NATO accession, as well as for the current support for its EU membership. He familiarized Alternate Minister Droutsas with the present status of the accession negotiations, pending the Intergovernmental Conference between Croatia and the EU February 19th 2010.
The ministers also exchanged opinions about the current political situation in the region and expressed support for its countries’ integration into the EU and NATO.
The meeting also discussed the Greek-Austrian initiative of opening up the perspective of joining the EU for all of the South Eastern European countries.
