Minister Jandroković thanked Minister of State Bryant for the support his country is offering Croatia in its efforts to complete the technical part of the negotiations as soon as possible and join the EU. In that regard, he remarked that Croatia, conclusive with the Intergovernmental Conference held in December 2009, had opened 28 negotiation chapters, of which 17 have been temporarily closed, expressing conviction in the further progress in the negotiations at the next Intergovernmental Conference scheduled for February 19th.
Minister of State Bryant said he believed Croatia would be the next, 28th EU member, and commended the implementation of reforms. He also said he was convinced that Croatia would maintain the same level of intensive cooperation with the ICTY.
