The collocutors expressed their satisfaction with the high level of bilateral relations in many areas, with the regular meetings of high officials, and with the cooperation between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs that regularly hold line bilateral consultations. Minister Jandroković welcomed Ambassador Markarjan to the Republic of Croatia, expressing hope that outstanding cooperation with ambassadors from the Russian Federation would continue.
They expressed the wish to continue and intensify the dialogue at all levels, as supported by the very good political relations. Minister Jandroković said that EU and NATO membership will not diminish the importance which Croatia attributes to the overall bilateral relations with the Russian Federation.
Minister Jandroković especially underlined the interest of the Republic of Croatia in establishing stronger economic cooperation with the Russian Federation. He also emphasised the great importance Croatia puts on the active cooperation with the Russian Federation in the United Nations bodies.
