The “Croatian Day 2009 and the Energy Forum” conference was dedicated to the advancement of economic relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Austria, with a particular focus on energy supply. It was organized by the Croatian-Austrian Chamber of Commerce in Graz and the Ministry of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Croatia.
In his speech on the economic cooperation of Croatia and Austria, Ambassador Jašić commended further efforts of the Croatian-Austrian Chamber of Commerce in promoting Croatian export to Austria. State Secretary for Finance and Commodity Reserves at the Ministry of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship Miljenko Pavlaković spoke about the current situation in the Croatian economy and opportunities for Austrian investors.
It was agreed with the Croatian-Austrian Chamber of Commerce to develop projects that will implement the Croatian export policy through partnerships between Croatian and Austrian companies.
