The reception was organized on the occasion of the mandate expiration of US Ambassador to Croatia Robert A. Bradtke, Head of the European Commission’s Delegation to Croatia Vincent Degert, Russian Federation’s Ambassador Mikhail Konarovsky, Israeli Ambassador Shmuel Meirom, and Canadian Ambassador Thomas D. Marr.
Minister Jandroković thanked the ambassadors for their personal engagement in enhancing the friendly relations between their respective countries and Croatia, adding he hoped they would remember Croatia as a democratic country turned towards the future and the European values, ready to face all challenges in unity with its global partners. Reminding that during their mandate Croatia became a member of NATO as well as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, Minister Jandroković reiterated Croatia’s willingness to carry on with the reforms necessary for the realization of its next foreign-policy goal – the EU membership.
