Ambassador Željko Bošnjak presented credentials to Lao President Choummaly Sayasone

After the presentation of the credentials, President Choummaly Sayasone and talked about the bilateral relations between Croatia and Laos, describing them as good and friendly.

Ambassador Bošnjak familiarized Lao president with the current political situation in Croatia, the basic guidelines of and achievements in its foreign policy, its historical and cultural heritage, and the situation in the region.

President Sayasone extended greetings to Croatian President Stjepan Mesić and wished Ambassador Bošnjak success in enhancing the two countries’ overall bilateral relations.

During his stay in Laos, Ambassador Bošnjak also held several meeting with high officials, during which it was pointed out that there is room for cooperation, especially in tourism.
