With regard to Croatia’s full accession to the European Union, he pointed out that all activities concerning the fulfilment of obligations continued and, moreover, their pace was being stepped up. Thus, the Republic of Croatia remains committed to implementing the required reforms, said Minister Jandroković, adding that he expected Croatia’s negotiation process to be unblocked very soon.

Minister Jandroković announced Croatia Summit to be held on 9 and 10 July 2009 in Dubrovnik with the focus on Euro-Atlantic integration of the South East European countries, stability, economic and political development, including co-operation in Europe in the field of energy. The Summit is jointly organised by the Governments of Sweden and Croatia.
