The collocutors expressed satisfaction with the excellent bilateral relations between Croatia and Chile, adding that there is room for further improvement of cooperation, namely in economy.
It was also pointed out that Croatia’s pending EU membership will have a positive effect on the two countries’ relations too, in view of the Agreement on Political and Trade Cooperation that Chile has signed with the European Union.
Minister Jandroković and Ambassador Sepúlveda also stressed the significance of the Croatian community in Chile as an important link between the two countries.
