Croatian Ambassador to UK Ivica Tomić met with Croatian wine exhibitors participating in London Wine Fair

The meeting reviewed the possibilities of using economic diplomacy in the promotion, presentation and placement of Croatian wines in Great Britain.

The London Wine Fair saw the first-time presentation of wines by 20 odd winemakers from all parts of Croatia, organized by the Croatian Chamber of Economy. Representatives of the exhibiting companies realized numerous contacts with British distributors and potential buyers.

In the wine evaluation by one of world’s leading wine magazines Decanter, in a competition of 1,300 exhibitors and more than 25,000 wine samples, Croatian winemakers won 16 gold, silver and bronze prizes.
