Following Olli Rehn’s proposal for solving Croatia-Slovenia border dispute and Slovenia’s veto of Croatia’s negotiations, and in response to various media statements and speculations, MFAEI would like to state the following

The Republic of Croatia has confirmed that it accepts the final proposal by Olli Rehn in its form and content, with no changes or amendments

The Republic of Croatia has confirmed that it accepts the final proposal by Olli Rehn in its form and content, with no changes or amendments. Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandroković has informed Commissioner Rehn and his EU members’ counterparts about the acceptance of the proposal via telephone. The formal written response will be submitted after the Croatian Parliament’s session set for May 8th 2009.
