Reaction to recent media writings on Croatia handing Serbia translated EU accession negotiation documents

We have stated on several occasions that said documents are in the possession of the Republic of Croatia and were not discussed during the recent visit by Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader to Serbia, nor have they been submitted to Serbian bodies

We have stated on several occasions that said documents are in the possession of the Republic of Croatia and were not discussed during the recent visit by Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader to Serbia, nor have they been submitted to Serbian bodies.

We have also pointed out that that is only one of the possible ways the countries of South Eastern Europe could be assisted on their way to the EU. What form the additional assistance will take will be known after Croatia talks with them during their EU accession.

We would like to reiterate once again that the Republic of Croatia has and will continue to assist with its experience the countries in the region in their acceding to the European Union.
