State Secretary Božinović thanked for the United Kingdom’s assistance programs for Croatia on its way to the EU membership. He expressed Croatia’s determination to carry on with the reforms, emphasizing the importance of Slovenia’s unblocking the negotiations.
Director Life expressed understanding for Croatia’s insistence on separating the bilateral dispute with Slovenia from the EU negotiations. She said the EU has no quick solutions, but that she is optimistic the situation would be overcome. She reiterated her country’s dedication to the EU enlargement process.
Director Life also congratulated Croatia on its joining the North Atlantic Alliance.
