State Secretary Davor Božinović received delegation of NATO Parliamentary Assembly

State Secretary Božinović expressed conviction that Croatia would soon become a NATO member

State Secretary Božinović expressed conviction that Croatia would soon become a NATO member, which would mean the fulfillment of one of Croatia’s earliest priority goals, dating back to its gaining of independence.

“The EU and NATO membership is the key of stability and prosperity in South Eastern Europe, and Croatia will continue to assist the countries in the region so that they could join both of the organizations as soon as possible”, said State Secretary Božinović.

Representatives of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly expressed satisfaction over the opportunity to attend today’s historical session of the Croatian Parliament, which confirmed the North Atlantic Treaty.

The collocutors also talked about Croatia’s future priorities as a NATO member, especially in relation to the Euro-Atlantic perspective of Europe’s southeast.
