Readers of this prestigious magazine voted in 15 categories, including the best city hotel, best resort, best wellness center, best destination, the most beautiful city, the most beautiful island, best airline company, etc.

In a stiff competition that included the Greek islands, Corsica, Puerto Rico, and Mauritius, this year the award for the most beautiful island went to the islands of the Croatian Adriatic. The ceremony saw the attendance of Croatian Ambassador to Spain Neven Pelicarić and Director of the Croatian National Tourist Board’s Madrid Office Sanja Jelić. Receiving the award on behalf of the Republic of Croatia and the Croatian islands, Ambassador Pelicarić said it was a great honor to receive this “tourist Oscar” of sorts, adding that its impact, especially on the Spanish tourist market, would be significant.

The Spanish edition of Condé Nast Traveler belongs to the Condé Nast Publications groups, which includes such prestigious magazines as Vogue, Architectural Digest, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker and Brides.
