On that occasion, Queen Margretha II awarded him a medal for his contribution to the overall enhancement and development of the relations between the Kingdom of Denmark and the Republic of Croatia during his ambassadorial term to Denmark
Expressing gratitude for the conferred medal, Ambassador Heina stated his great satisfaction with the excellent and well-developed bilateral relations between Croatia and Denmark, as two friendly countries.
He also thanked Queen Margretha II for the strong support Denmark is continually extending Croatia in the realization of its two most important foreign-policy goals: full-fledged EU and NATO membership.
