Croatian Ambassador to Serbia Željko Kuprešak handed over credentials to Serbian President Boris Tadić

The meeting following the handover ceremony emphasized that the relations between Croatia and Serbia surpass the usual good relations between neighbouring countries in their significance, and that both countries share the interest to jointly solve all of the outstanding issues.

It was pointed out that the EU membership is both countries’ strategic goal, stressing that cooperation and mutual support based on the European principles of good-neighbourliness, solidarity, reciprocity and respecting the differences will be of great importance in that process.
