State Secretary Bianca Matković met with President of Croatian Union of Physically Disabled Persons’ Associations Mirjana Dobranović

State Secretary Matković expressed her full support for the Union’s activities, commending its contribution in the social integration of physically disabled persons, adding that they can continue counting on her assistance.

HSUTI President Dobranović familiarized State Secretary Matković with the activities of the Union, which numbers 82 local physically disabled persons’ associations. Pointing out that their priorities are informing and sensitizing the public about the rights and needs of physically disabled persons, she reminded that HSUTI has already published and translated into various European languages the etiquette books for children and adults regarding the everyday conduct towards physically disabled persons. HSUTI President Dobranović also informed State Secretary Matković about the planned project of international cooperation for physically disabled persons, as a part of which, in cooperation with Croatian and French experts, a series of educational forums on human and physically disabled persons’ rights would be held.

State Secretary Matković agreed with their necessity and offered assistance in their organization.
