By doing so, the UK has become the 16th of the 26 Alliance members to ratify the Protocol, after Hungary, Latvia, the United States of America, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Turkey, Norway, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, the Czech Republic and Italy.
The ministry welcomes the ratification, believing that Croatia has proven its international credibility as a reliable and active partner of the NATO Alliance.
