The two collocutors describes the bilateral relations as very good and friendly, as confirmed by the recent visit by Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader to Sweden. They also pointed out a mutual interest to further strengthen all forms of cooperation between Croatia and Sweden.
Minister Jandroković thanked Ambassador Vahlquist for the support Sweden is extending Croatia in its EU accession negotiations, emphasizing Croatia’s expectation to complete the negotiations in the latter half of 2009, during the Swedish presidency.
