Director Ljubičić was sent to Israel as soon as news about the bus accident involving 48 Croatian citizens reached Croatia. Five of them remained in Israel, while the rest, in cooperation with the Israeli side, received all the necessary legal and consular assistance in order to return to Zagreb.
Afterwards, Director Ljubičić was received at the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs by Consular Affairs Director Yjigal Tzarsati and Director for Europe and Middle East Ziv Rev, whom he thanked for the swift intervention and assistance. Both sides agreed that the two countries’ good cooperation is augmented by the very good political relations as well, while the increasing mutual tourist visits contribute to the further strengthening of the bilateral relations.
