Representatives of the CWC informed State Secretary Matković about its activities and the future project guidelines

Representatives of the CWC informed State Secretary Matković about its activities and the future project guidelines. As some of the initiatives they listed the 2010 Croatian World Games, organizing economic conventions to strengthen business investment in Croatia, launching a virtual student mentorship, using the UN funds, and the importance of the CWC representation in ECOSOC.

State Secretary Matković familiarized the present parties with the activities regarding Croatia’s EU accession process, pointing out that the EU and NATO accession is a sign of economic and political stability, which makes Croatia even more attractive for foreign investors. As for the existing potential, the meeting also discussed the strengthening of the cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and the CWC in project implementation, as well as the further enhancement of communication with the Croats abroad and potential foreign investors.

The CWC representatives expressed support for the Croatian Government and the MFAEI in their projects and activities of promoting the Croatian economy, stressing the need for a stronger presentation of Croatia abroad through the strengthening of economic diplomacy, as well as through a successful communication with organizations such as the CWC.
