State Secretary Bianca Matković received on farewell visit Swedish Ambassador Lars Fredén

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the high level of the friendly and partner relations between Croatia and Sweden, as well as a wish for a further improvement of the economic co-operation.

Having familiarised Ambassador Fredén with the current evens regarding Croatia’s EU and NATO accession, State Secretary Matković extended gratitude for Sweden’s continuous support for Croatia in these processes. She also thanked Ambassador Fredén for his personal dedicated and professional work during his ambassadorial mandate to Croatia.

Ambassador Fredén congratulated Croatia on its foreign-policy successes, pointing out that the results it has achieved made Croatia an important stability factor in the region.
