After the meeting, Minister Jandroković said that the Croatian competent representatives informed Director-General Leigh in detail on the processes of adjustment and implementation of internal reforms. Minister Jandroković expressed his satisfaction with the recognition and commending of progress in all areas. He mentioned that further steps and additional efforts are still to be made in this process and he confirmed that the Republic of Croatia is fully focused on achieving this goal.
Director-General Leigh said that in the past two days he managed to get a full overview of all the fields and he rated the accession negotiations as going in the right direction and he pointed out that Croatia should keep investing further efforts in order to fulfil the necessary criteria and benchmarks.
