Minister Jandroković pointed out that another proof of the exhibition’s importance is the fact that 106 countries and international organisations have confirmed their participation, as well as the organisers’ expectation that the exhibition will attract more than 8 million visitors.
EXPO is a showroom of sorts which, along with numerous nations and cultures, is the best way to present the economic subjects of participating countries. In that regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, as the project bearer, included in its realisation the leading Croatian companies and organisations.
The co-operation agreements were signed between State Secretary at the MFAEI and Chairman of the National EXPO 2008 Board Željko Kuprešak and Plinacro’s CEO Branko Radošević, INA’s Directorate member Mirko Zelić, JANAF’s CEO Ante Markov, CNTB’s Head Office Director Niko Bulić, Croatia Osiguranje’s Zagreb Branch Office Director Borislav Brkić, and NEXE Grupa’s Board of Directors member Vesna Škoro.
The event was complemented by the presentation of the occasional post stamp published by Hrvatska pošta on the occasion of EXPO 2008, as well as by the presentation of the uniforms of the Croatian pavilion staff.
The signing of the agreements was concluded with the wishes for a successful presentation at this year’s EXPO.
