State Secretary for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Bianca Matković was appointed at the Croatian Government’s session on 19 March 2008 the chief co-ordinator for monitoring the activities in fulfilling all of the obligations in Croatia’ EU accession
State Secretary Matković is in charge of co-ordinating the Ministry’s activities concerning the Stabilisation and Association Agreement, the National EU Accession Program, and satisfying the criteria for opening and closing the negotiation chapters. As the chief co-ordinator, State Secretary Matković will also receive weekly reports on the activities that the relevant ministries and bodies are undertaking in meeting the EU accession obligations.
