State Secretary Matković and Ambassador Konarovski expressed both countries’ willingness to deepen the economic ties and strengthen the co-operation in energy and tourism.
Opinions were exchanged about the present state of affairs in South Eastern Europe, while State Secretary Matković pointed out that Croatia, as a reliable member of the international community, seeks to be a constructive partner of the countries in the region, with the aim of continuing the process of stabilisation, reforms, democratization, and approaching the Euro-Atlantic integration.
Within the context of key challenges of global security, the meeting also discussed the co-operation between Croatia and Russia within the UN Security Council, as well as the frequent holding of consultations.
