The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration contributed to the project with a lecture by Head of the European Integration Education Department Tatjana Čorlija entitled “Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration – the European Integration Process and Youth Activities”.
Speaking about the Ministry’s activities concerning the communication strategy for informing the Croatian public about Croatia’s EU accession, Ms. Čorlija explained the way of approaching the informal education of all categories of society, including youth, on the European integration process. In that regard, she presented the regular activities the Ministry is undertaking to better inform the public about the European integration, such as EUQUIZ (high-school competition in facts about the EU), the Login@Europe project (high- and elementary-school competition in developing webpages about the EU and Euro-integration processes), MFAEI Open Door, MFAEI Summer School on European Integration, co-operation with the Faculty of Economy and media through the EU Days project and the Euromagazin and Abeceda Europske Unije (EU Alphabet) TV-shows, various seminars, lectures, and publications. In her lecture, Ms. Čorlija also presented the formal education elements – civil servant scholarships for postgraduate European studies at various European universities.
