State Secretary Željko Kuprešak received European Parliament MP Enrique Barón Crespo

State Secretary Kuprešak familiarised MP Crespo with the current events in the course of Croatia’s EU membership negotiations, and the two exchanged opinions on certain related topics. Both sides expressed their views on the possibilities of speeding up the further progress of Croatia’s negotiation process, which would significantly contribute to the stability in the area and provide additional incentive for other countries to conduct all the reforms necessary for harmonising with the EU standards.

State Secretary Kuprešak and MP Crespo also reviewed the current state of affairs in South Eastern Europe, notably the issue of Kosovo’s status, pointing out the need to continue with the processes of strengthening peace and stability.
