The UN Development Programme (UNDP) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration signed on 30 November 2007 a project document entitled “Support for the National Capacities for Development Co-operation in the Republic of Croatia”
The UNDP has offered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration assistance in the drawing up of the national strategy of development co-operation, organisation of the first national conference on development co-operation, conducting polls on the topic, and organisation of the public campaign on the importance of development co-operation. The project document was signed for a period of one year, and the UNDP has allotted USD 100,000 for its implementation.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration by State Secretary for Organisation, Development and Management Željko Kuprešak and on behalf of the UNDP by Permanent Representative to Croatia Yuri Afanasiev.
