Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović headed the Croatian delegation at the session of the Intergovernmental Conference on Croatia’s EU Accession, held on 12 October 2007 in Brussels
The Conference opened negotiations for the chapters on Consumer and Health Protection (Chapter 28) and External Relations (Chapter 30).
Including these two, Croatia has so far opened 14 Chapters, two of which have also been temporarily closed.
Thanking the Portuguese EU presidency for its contribution to Croatia’s membership negotiations, Minister Grabar-Kitarović expressed conviction in the further impetus of the negotiations dynamics.
