Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović received on 17 September 2007 to inaugural visit the Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to the Republic of Croatia, Ann-Marie Nyroos
The meeting confirmed the existence of excellent bilateral relations between Croatia and Finland, with both sides expressing interest for their further enhancement and development. In that regard, both sides expressed a wish for a more intensive exchange of high-level visits and co-operation among state administration representatives.
Minister Grabar-Kitarović reported about the current events in Croatia’s EU and NATO accession, and thanked for the continuous support Finland has been offering Croatia along that path. The two sides also exchanged opinions about the situation in the region.
Ambassador Nyroos was also received by State Secretary for Political Affairs and Hido Biščević and State Secretary for European Integration Marija Pejčinović Burić.
