State Secretary for Political Affairs Hido Biščević received on 17 September 2007 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Serbian Minister for Diaspora Milica Čubrilo
State Secretary Biščević informed Minister Čubrilo about the Croatian Government’s policy on the protection of the national minorities in Croatia. The two also discussed the position of the Serbian national minority in Croatia and the Croatian one in Serbia, pointing out the mutual dedication to a further co-operation between the two countries in all fields of interest to the national minorities, especially culture, science, and education. In that regard, both sides expressed support for the initiative to hold soon a meeting of the Mixed Intergovernmental Committee for Monitoring the Implementation of the Agreement on the Protection of the Croatian National Minority in the Republic of Serbia and the Serbian National Minority in the Republic of Croatia.
