Croatian Government discussed open issues with Slovenia

Within the framework of intensive conciliation between the two countries on the ways of resolving open issues, particularly those concerning sea demarcation, and following the receipt of Slovene stances and views, the Croatian government has discussed these issues at today’s session

In view of Croatia's stances regarding the issue of the so-called arbitration, that is, presenting border issues before an international judicial body, at today's session the Croatian government has proposed the Slovene side for the two countries to address the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea in Hamburg regarding the problem of demarcation at sea.

The conciliation procedure is pending, and since it is an internal procedure, details cannot be revealed at this point. The Croatian Government expects a reply from the Slovene side following today's Croatian proposal.
