The focus of the meeting between Minster Grabar-Kitarović and Bulgarian European Affairs Minister Grancharova were the bilateral relations between two countries, which were mutually described as stable and friendly. The Bulgarian side confirmed the continuation of its strong support for Croatia in its process of EU accession.
During the meeting with Japanese Deputy Foreign Minister Matsushima, both sides confirmed the existence of good bilateral relations between Croatia and Japan, expressing a wish for the strengthening of the economic co-operation. In that regard, the Croatian side noted Croatia’s transport potentials, with an emphasis on the Rijeka Port, as well as the possibility of intensifying the co-operation in tourism. The meeting also saw the exchange of opinions about the state of affairs in South Eastern Europe and reviewed the co-operation between the two countries in the multilateral field.
