International conference titled “Learning Europe – Advanced Training in EU Matters“ is taking place in Krk on Friday, 15 June and Saturday, 16 June 2007, in the organisation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and Konrad Adenauer Foundation
Assistant Minister at the Directorate for International Economic Cooperation Andrea Gustović Ercegovac opened an international conference titled “Learning Europe – Advanced Training in EU Matters.“ The Conference will focus on education on European integrations on a regional and trans-European level, coordination of policies of the European Union on a national level, education of higher civil servants and state officials and the analysis of sector demands in education in the field of European integration, and the importance of public surveys for the purpose of building communication strategies for informing the public on the European Union.
This year's conference is a continuation of the previous “Learning Europe“ conferences dedicated to education and training of civil servants in the field of European integration, held in Rovinj in 2003, Dubrovnik in 2004, Varaždin in 2005, and Brijuni in 2006.
