Minister Grabar-Kitarović received to farewell visit Finnish Ambassador Ilpo Manninen

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović received on 1 March 2007 to a farewell visit the Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to the Republic of Croatia, Ilpo Manninen

Both sides described the bilateral co-operation between Croatia and Finland as very good, concluding that there are no open issues in the two countries’ relations.

Minister Grabar-Kitarović thanked Ambassador Manninen for his personal engagement during the mandate to Croatia and for Finland’s overall support for Croatia’s process of EU accession.

Ambassador Manninen expressed his conviction that Croatia would soon become the 28th member of the Union, as well as the satisfaction over the fact that Finland is able to contribute to Croatia’s progress in the process of acceding to full membership.
