State Secretary for Political Affairs Hido Biščević received on 20 February 2007 the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Croatia, Mihail Konarovski
The meeting was held for the purposes of reviewing the topics to be discussed at the forthcoming political consultations between the delegation of the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, led by State Secretary Biščević, and the delegation of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led by Deputy Minister Vladimir Titov, scheduled for 28 February 2007 in Zagreb.
State Secretary Biščević and Ambassador Konarovski also discussed the state of affairs in South East Europe, especially in light of seeking the solution for the Kosovo issue. State Secretary Biščević took the opportunity to inform Ambassador Konarovski about the activities Croatia is conducting on its way to the Euro-Atlantic integration, as well as the activities and events planned for during Croatia’s SEECP presidency.
