State Secretary Hido Biščević received to inaugural visit Dutch Ambassador Maria Trooster

Both expressed satisfaction with the high level of relations between Croatia and the Netherlands, while State Secretary Biščević took the opportunity to thank for the assistance the Netherlands are offering Croatia through bilateral assistance and pre-accession programs financed by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The two also pointed out the need for a further intensification and enhancement of economic, scientific, and cultural co-operation, stressing the importance of co-operation on a multilateral level as well.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Trooster stated her satisfaction with the fact that her first ambassadorial mandate will be in Croatia, a country undergoing full EU membership negotiations, pointing out that the Netherlands strongly support Croatia on its way to the Euro-Atlantic integration.
