Minister Grabar-Kitarović pointed out that Croatia supports the continuation of the reform processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the strengthening of state institutions, which will carry the future reforms, adding that Croatia is willing to offer support and assistance to Bosnia and Herzegovina by transferring its experiences in EU and NATO association. She welcomed the opening of the negotiations on the Stability and Association Agreement and Bosnia and Herzegovina’s EU association.
Minister Grabar-Kitarović emphasized Croatia’s support to BH constitutional-legal framework with the aim of establishing equality, protecting the vital interests and securing the equal participation of Croats, as one of the three constitutive peoples, in the central state institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Minister Grabar-Kitarović welcomed the setting up of a free trade regime between Croatia and BH, which will have a positive effect on the economy of both countries. The two sides agreed that there is no need for the outstanding issues between the two countries to be politicised, but should be dealt with on an expert and non-political level.
