In a separate meeting with Ukrainian Ambassador Kyryk, Minister Grabar-Kitarović described the relations between the two countries as very good, with no outstanding issues, and on the rise in the field of economy. As the most important achievements during him mandate Ambassador Kyryk pointed out the signing of the Friendship and Co-operation Agreement in 2003 and the Agreement between the Croatian Government and the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers on the Mutual Travel of Citizens that liberalises the visa regime between the two countries and should soon come into effect.
During the meeting with German Ambassador Staks, both sides expressed satisfaction with the very good co-operation between the two countries and the good communication between the MFAEI and the German Embassy in Zagreb during his mandate. Ambassador Staks reiterated Germany’s support tot Croatia on its way to full EU and NATO membership.
In the meeting with Ambassador Veer, Minister Grabar-Kitarović thanked the Dutch ambassador for his contribution to the development of the partnership and co-operation between the two countries, as well as the Netherlands’ assistance and donations to Croatia. Ambassador Veer pointed out that during his mandate Croatia has realised a significant progress, and that the Netherlands will continue to support Croatia on its way to the European Union.
