State Secretary for Political Affairs at the MFAEI Hido Biščević met on Monday, 29 May 2006, at the MFAEI with Deputy Director of UNHCR Bureau for Europe Udo Janz
The two exchanged opinions about the current state of the SEE relations, especially as regards the implementation of the Sarajevo Declaration and further solving of the refugees issue. State Secretary Biščević pointed out that Croatia places great importance on its solving, stressing that even during Croatia’s one-year presidency over the SEECP, its activities will be directed at stimulating the further implementation of the Sarajevo Declaration by all countries involved in the process.
Deputy Director of UNHCR Bureau for Europe Udo Janz commended Croatia’s progress in solving this issue and welcomed the Croatian Government’s dedication and determination to go on with the implementation of the Sarajevo Declaration until the issues of refugees return and reintegration are solved.
