Minister Grabar-Kitarović informed Minister Colonna about Croatia’s achievements so far on the road to the European integration, as well as with the overall course of the negotiations. Also, Minister Grabar-Kitarović stressed that Croatia wishes to contribute to the stability of the South East Europe and will in that regard continue to co-operate with the neighbouring countries in solving the remaining open issues and transferring its experiences in the European integration process.
Minister Colonna commended Croatia’s progress, pointing out that France will continue to offer its support. She also expressed a wish for the continuation of Croatia’s progress in the EU accession, pointing out that it depends on individual achievements.
Minister Colonna also stressed that the reforms Croatia is conducting on its way to the European integration is important for the whole region as well, making Croatia a good example and contributing to the regions stability.
Both ministers mentioned the co-operation between the two countries within the International Organisation of the Francophonie and pointed out their satisfaction with the recent signing of the Memorandum on years-long program of French language learning in Croatian state administration as an additional tie between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of France.
