In addition, State Secretary Pejčinović Burić said that achieving the economy’s competitiveness also requires a competitive work force, which forces us to acquire new knowledges, expertise and abilities, and modernise them throughout our life-long education.
State Secretary Pejčinović Burić also pointed out that Croatia is acting in accordance with the goals of the Lisbon Strategy, which entail the realisation of a long-term economic growth, increasing competitiveness, and creating new and better job opportunities, i. e. the development of Europe as the most competitive of economies, based on knowledge.
