Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović met on Thursday, 13 April 2006 at the MFAEI, with Defence Minister of the Czech Republic Karel Kühnl
Minister Grabar-Kitarović pointed out the good relations and close co-operation between Croatia and the Czech Republic, as well as the importance of Croatia’s NATO ascension, in which the Czech Republic’s experiences could be of great help to Croatia. Minister Grabar-Kitarović added that Croatia is determined to meet all of the conditions for NATO membership.
Czech Defence Minister Kühnl commended Croatia’s progress in approaching NATO, pointing out that the Czech Republic too is interested in seeing Croatia join NATO, since the two countries’ co-operation greatly contributes not only to the regional but the global stability as well.
