Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović met on Wednesday, 12 April 2006, at the MFAEI with the students of the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, vice-champions from the prestigious competition in European Law held in Luxembourg, 31 March 2006, before the judges of the European Court of Justice
European Law Moot Court Competition gathers teams from the most prestigious European and world’s universities, and this year the students of the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, met in finals with the universities of Köln, Lueven and Maastricht, and won the second place.
It was suggested that the MFAEI co-organize the competitions’ regional finals in Zagreb early-2007. Minister Grabar-Kitarović invited the students to apply for the competition for the postgraduate studies in European Integration (European Law), that the MFAEI has been conducting since 1998. Also, Minister Grabar-Kitarović offered the students the possibility of taking part in the process of Croatia’s EU ascension.
