State Secretary for Political Affairs at the MFAEI Hido Biščević received on Tuesday, 21 March 2006, to inaugural visit the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Croatia seated in Vienna, Norma Miguelina Goicochea Estenoz, who handed the copies of her credentials
Both agreed that there are no outstanding issues between Croatia and Cuba, pointing out that there is a mutual interest in further improving the economic and cultural co-operation.
State Secretary Biščević took the opportunity to inform Ambassador Goicochea Estenoz about Croatia’s foreign policy goals, the progress of the EU membership negotiations, and the political situation in South East Europe, adding that Croatia is ready to actively participate in its stabilisation.
