Both sides expressed satisfaction with the high level of the relations between Croatia and Israel, but pointed out the need to further improve the economic co-operation. In that regard, the Israeli side pointed out that the Israeli economic subjects are strongly interested in investing in the Croatian economy, especially in tourism.
State Secretary Biščević informed the Israeli side about Croatia’s activities in approaching the Euro-Atlantic integration, particularly the progress of the EU membership negotiations.
Both sides exchanged opinions on the current situation in the South East Europe and Middle East, stressing that the stability of these regions is of a crucial global importance. Both sides pointed out that their countries are ready to actively take part in the stabilisation of the political and security situation in their environments.
